To change the date of a fixture you will always need to raise a Fixture Change Request using the Change Request button on the fixture in question.
Dates for fixtures are locked in accordance with the rules and regulations of the competition. Only when a request date/time change is accepted by both teams can a change of date be permitted.
You can request a date change as the home or away team.
Once the request is sent an email will be sent to the opposition, along with an alert displayed on the Fixtures tab of their Dashboard on BUCS Play. They will be required to accept/decline the request. If accepted, the date will automatically change. If declined you or they will be able to raise a further request to change the date.
NB: If the fixture change is not accepted, the fixture is to be played at the original time as first set.
In the LUSL rules and regulations it states that any change of date has to be verified in the first instance by the staff lead from the BUCS office. To do this email firstname.lastname@example.org with confirmation from the opposing team that they are happy to change the date. This will then be considered by the BUCS office who will respond to confirm if the change can take place. If the change is accepted, the fixture will be changed on the platform.
