The procedure to withdraw an athlete from an event after the IA admin deadline is as follows:
1. Visit the BUCS website by Clicking Here and select the event you wish to withdraw from.
2. Click the withdrawals dropdown to find out how to withdraw.
3. Please send the Event Lead the following information:
- The athlete's name
- eg. Joe Bloggs
- The event the athlete has been entered into
- eg. Downhill Mountain Bike
- Please include the sport if you email us
- The discipline (if relevant)
- eg. Men's
3. Detail the reason for the withdrawal request.
4. Confirm that you wish for them to be withdrawn from the event.
We will then be able to confirm if the withdrawal is able to be made and the cost implications. This will depend on the date and the reasoning behind the request.
NB: Only an Institution Administrator can ask for a participant to be withdrawn from an event.
