Only Institution Administrators will be able to remove teams during the team entry window(s).
Click on the dashboard button on the home screen and ensure you are in the correct season:
To remove a team:
- Navigate your way to the team entry tab which is found on the Institution Administrator dashboard
- Filter to your institution and/or sport
- Open the drop downs by clicking on the name of the sport and your institution
- You will need to update the number of teams to fewer
- For example, if you have 5 teams entered last year and you would like that to be 3 for the new season you need to change the number from 5 to 3
- Click Update and save
When a team is removed, it will automatically remove the lowest ranked teams (the 4th and 5th teams in the above example).
When a team is removed, the team will be deleted from the system. This will mean that all players, captains and team support/coaches will no longer exist as the team does not exist. If you remove a team and reintroduce it, it will act as if the team is completely new.
You will be able to move players quickly and easily into the squad as all eligible players will be in the eligible section on the team hub.
