To enter Cricket results you first need to navigate to the fixture. Please see this section of our help guides for more information on this by clicking here for app or here for desktop.
Entering Cricket Results on Desktop
By clicking to enter the result of the fixture you will be presented with the entry form below.
In the event of a suspension free match, the Overs, Runs and Wickets can be entered for each team, whilst ticking the box to select which team was to bat first. Ensure the match winner in the drop-down box above is correct and click save.
Entering Duckworth-Lewis on Desktop
If the match was interrupted by weather or other circumstances and the match involved a suspension or reduced number of overs, you will need to enter this this and calculate the Duckworth-Lewis.
To enter the details of a suspension period click add twice to show the detail entry for when the game stopped and started.
Next enter the details of the number of Overs left, Runs and Wickets Lost for when the match was stopped and then restarted. Then click Calculate DL in the top right corner.
The new target score will then be calculated by BUCS Play and displayed in the area circled. Following this, the remaining results can be entered following the completion of the match.
Entering Cricket Results on App
Cricket results can also be entered from the app using a similar method.
To enter the result of a full match without any suspension periods, navigate to the results scorecard of the fixture. Enter the result and select which team batted first and click Save at the bottom of the page.
Entering Duckworth-Lewis on App
To enter the details of a suspension period click add twice to show the detail entry for when the game stopped and started.
Next enter the details of the number of Overs left, Runs and Wickets for when the match was stopped and then restarted. Then click Calculate DL just above this.
The new target score will then be calculated by BUCS Play and displayed in the area circled. Following this, the remaining results can be entered following the completion of the match.
