Generally, only administrators on BUCS Play will be able to create and set venues depending on your institution's settings.
Assigning venues to fixtures:
1. Go to a specific fixture where the venue will be selectable amongst the venue dropdown list.
Creating new venues in a community:
To set up a new venue in a community please follow the steps below:
1. Enter the community in which you wish to add a venue.
2. Click on 'Teams' amongst the top menu.
3. Select the 'Manage Team Categories' tab.
4. Next to the relevant team category, click on the 'Venues' button.
5. Either search for and tick one of the existing venues on BUCS Play or select '+ Create Venue' to add an new venue.
6. Enter the location of your venue and click Next.
7. If your venue appears, select one of these options to add this to your venue list. Otherwise, select 'Skip and create a new venue' at the bottom of the screen.
8. Then enter the details of your venue.
It will be useful to include venue notes such as surface type or footwear to use in the Description box which will display under the venue notes section of the fixture.
9. At this point you can either 'Finish' or 'Add more detail' about the venue.
10. To assign these venues to fixtures, follow the step outlined at the top of this page.
